Well on that case, even though a lot of people don't believe it, store brand formulas are often the exact ingredients of a name brand. It should say on the can. Both of my boys couldn't use formula it made them sick in every way imaginable. So we put them on goats milk, I honestly can't tell you which is better because of that. So just choose one that catches your eye and stick.with it, try to get the store brand if you can.
Thanks for answering! My hospital uses both enfamil & similac, and I got samples cans in the mail for enfamil. Wic uses both here in Maryland, but I tired to get it, but cannot. :(
The WIC in TX only.uses Similac but they will do other ones with a Drs RX. I started with enfamil with my first when breastfeeding failed me and then WIC put me on the orange labeled similac which is the normal one. Basically just ask the nursery nurses at the hospital what they use, start with that and then consult your pediatrician to see what they suggest.
I've always used enfimil with my children. Most babies just use the regular infant formula and I believe it has a yellow label. All the other different kinds are for special needs like colic, has, premie, or spit up. In which if you need one of those your babies doctor will tell you which one. Also if you plan on getting WIC they only issue enfimil.
