labor :/

I'm only 31 weeks 3 days and been in labor for the past 3 days went in the first time and they tried so many things to stop my contractions and I was there for 24 hours and after 12 hours of being on magnesium they stopped but 12 hours later I went back in cause my contractions were crazy bad again. They did everything all over again except no magnesium and they slowed them down a lot but didn't stop them.  So now I'm on pills to stop contractions. They're working a little but I'm still getting them. I think I'm probably going to have the baby soon. Just wondering if anyone knows if the baby will be okay if he's born this early :/

When my mom was pregnant with my brother, she went into labor at 25 weeks. She was in the hospital on bedrest from then until she had him at 32 weeks. He had other complications as well, and was in the nicu for awhile. Today he's a perfectly healthy 19 year old guy in college. This was 19 years ago that my mom had him so early, so there's been many medical advancements since then. He may need a little help in the beginning, but many babies born early do just fine. Just try and relax and not stress (easier said than done, I know).

Unless your baby is having other complications he should be ok in the NICU for a few weeks or maybe even less you never know. Babies are fighters hun so I'm sure that's exactly what he's going to do. Just pray that things go smoothly and that he's as healthy as can be. I'm sorry I can't be more help
