full moon.... is it true?

I'm so worried I'm gonna go into labor tonight cuz it's gonna be a full moon! I'm 37+4 and i went into labor 5 weeks ago at 32 weeks and have been on medicine since to keep my contractions under control anyways I'm dilated to 4cm and almost 100% effaced but the ultrasound i had Monday says he only weighs 6lbs 3oz and we still have things to buy and stuff to do here at home do i just really really want him to stay in there and bake until at least Monday or Tuesday so is it true aboutwoman going into labor bcuz of the full moon? I really hope not my husband just left for work and won't be home until 6am tomorrow I'm so scared my waters going to break and i won't make it to the hospital since I'd have to wait half an hour for him to get home and it takes almost half an hour to get to the hospital :(

Look online... There is so much research on it and nurses have left many testimony how when its a full moon they seriously run out of hospitol beds for labor n delivery. They say there is somethin about the full moon that messes with emotions and pregnant women. That's why jails are SUPER busy on these nights as well and the ER.

Wow! Your story is almost exact as mine! I went in at 34weeks aand was 4cm and 75% effaced. I'm now 37+2 and I'm 4cm and 100%! Everyone is telling me I'll go into labor tonight too! Lol

I keep hearing this too! I'm 36w+1d and I don't even know if I'm dilated or effaced. I wish my doctor would just check me already.

I have had nurses tell me that on the night of a full moon they have had more women give birth then any other time but that doesn't necessarily really mean it being a full moon is going to cause you to go in labor do I wouldn't worry any

I really hope not I've had so many people in the last 2 days say something about it and since I'm already dilated to 4 (which was as of last Monday i could be farther now) and plus i didn't make it past the end of my 37th week with either of my other 2 kids I'm just kinda worried cuz i just want him to stay put a little longer! I'm the complete opposite of most of the woman on here who are this close to the end they all just want it over and i don't lol!

I've never known anyone to go into labor because of the full moon personally...so idk if it is true or not. I've had 3 pregnancies and neither one was induced by the moon lol!! Your baby will decide that hun! But idk if it's true or not...I'm just stating from personal experience!!! Good luck hun!!I
