Well I have a name picked out for my baby girl I actually had it since before my first was born. I'm naming her Emma Simonalisa. My hubbys grandma is saying why such a long name and she don't like simona cus  my hubbys dads name is simon and she hates him lol. Well I'm giving my daughter that name because it has 3 generations. Emma is my grandmas name simona is my great grandmas name and lisa is my name.  So I almost told her off I just walked out I'm naming my daughter what I want they don't have to see her I really can care less. Don't u hate that when ppl butt in like that like who cares what u think that's my daughter, my husband loves the names also.

That's why I chose not to tell anybody who lives near me my sons name. People told me they didn't like my daughters name, and her name is Kiara Alannah-Marie. They kept trying to give me different names. This time I told my mom, sister, brother, his girlfriend, and his son. My SO hasn't told anybody. His name is going to be Ryder Nathaniel-James.

Same here i was guna 1st name my daughter Adamaris Destiny but torse the end of the pregnancy we which it up Destiny adamaris instead now my mom saying why i.should of it how it was 1st but idc i like how it is..

My mom is the one thats like that !  Baby daddy & I picked out Delilah Alizé and everyone loved it except my mother (Surprise!). She said I was giving her a b I t c h name and I said idgaf lol . She wanted to name my daughter Mia Elizabeth . Elizabeth cus that's my name or Camila Alizé. But I told her I don't give two s h I t s about what her opinions

Yea my sister tried telling me that my sons name was white trash... Its Greyson Wyatt. I was going to tell her to shove it up her butt. And then I just shrugged it off cause at the end of the day he is my baby and I could name him whatever the heck I want. She had no part in creating him and she named her son. Don't let ppl get to you sweety I swear ppl see a pregnant woman and they take it upon themselves to shove their opinions down your throat. If you and the hubby like it then that is all that matters and I am sure that little Emma will be very proud of her name when she gets older!!!

I told my mum what name we liked and were leaning towards.... She told me I better not change it because she has bough personalised gifts for bub.... Good thing we are pretty settled on the name. I still wouldn't be changing the name even if my family didn't like the name...

I understand, I've gotten a lot of criticism about the spelling of my daughters name , Haydn, but first of all it's her fathers middle name and how it's spelled and second , I really don't understand why people care so much.

Girl I feel you.. My husbands mother says that i am giving my daughter a p-u-s-s-y name. It really upsets me. My husband and i love the name we picked out. We've decided to name her Laci Nicole. No one liked my sons name when we first named him either, his name is Landon Alan. We have learned that it doesn't matter what they think. It still hurts our feelings, but they are going to love the baby no matter the name..and if not then they can just go to he-ll lol. I personally LOVE your daughters name. I think it's beautiful and unique. =)

Don't worry hun you name your baby whatever you want. someone is always going to say something. My ex's mom criticized me for wanting to name my daughter Keira, she wanted me to name her something like Savannah even though my niece's name is Savannah. But I basically said screw you and named her Keira and I'm extremely happy with my decision. The name you've chosen is very beautiful by the way and I love the sentimental value it has for you.
