gestational diabetes/big baby?

good luck, I found out I had gd @ 18wks. Im 21wks rn. I have to watch what I eat, not supposed to eat past 7 & have to check my sugar 4X a day. It ***** but oh well anything for bby!

I had it with my first and she was 9.6 lbs and it was because of the gd! So it's possible it just depends I guess I was monitored and took my sugars 4 times a day it suckered but with bby #2 I lost a lot of weight before pregnancy and I've passed my first test but my doc is going to keep testing me every 8wks!  I'm 19-2 now

My best friend had GD but her baby boy was 6 lbs and 3oz

Not really but its possible. My mom had gestational diabetes with me and I was under 7 lbs.

Not neccarilly. But its very possible.

People with gestational diabetes tend to have larger babies, however just because you have GB doesn't mean your baby will definitely be huge, just a greater likelyhood.
