getting hair done

I just found out I am pregnant. I'm about 5 weeks pregnant. I usually get my hair hilighted every 3 months and I was just wondering if I can get my hair hilighted while pregnant? Thanks yall

My baby shower is mext saturday and I plan on highlighting my hair or coloring it....but im 33 weeks and 3 days...I dont recommend coloring or highlighting your hair until the 2nd trimester

My drs said that going to a salon that uses natural ingredients like aveda or paul mitchell would be fine and highlights are much safer than an all over color because when you get highlights the dye doesn't touch your scalp.

I did it during my pregnancy I think your fine they said it was bad if there was ammonia in it but they don't use ammonia is hair dye anymore

I would definitely check with my doctor!  I don't dye my hair any longer and I wouldn't be willing to risk it while pregnant.

I read about it and although there doesn't seem to be 100% evidence that hair dies are dangerous to a baby, some research suggest it so I wouldn't risk. I'm definitely going to skip dying my hair during my pregnancy.
