What does everyone think of the name Esme (pronounced Es-may) for a girl?

I do love the spelling Esme,. Just hoping everyone doesn't start to pronounce it as (Es-mee)
Hopefully I don't go off the name. But there's so many gorgeous girls names to pick from :)

Esme means something I'm Arabic, I can't remember if it's listen but I'm pretty sure it is

Esme is a good, strong name. And the spelling is old and traditional so I think it makes it better. It might be in Twilight but the one thing Meyer had going for her was her incredible choice in traditional but unique names for characters. I still love Jasper.

I agree with the spelling thing cause when I see Esme I pronounce it (Es-mee)  Esmae or Esmay sounds more like what you're going for but like I said up to you!

Its different I heard it as a nick name for a girl named Esmerelda. Honestly its what you think of it, if you think its pretty then you should go with it.
