So I was in L&D about a month ago bc of abdominal pain. So they did a full abdominal ultrasound to make sure everything was okay with my kidneys and my liver, etc. Well at the end I asked the ultrasound tech if he could get a look at the baby to see what it is. He didn't get a good view but he said he doesn't see anything that looks like a penis so its probably a girl but he also didn't see a vagina. I'm already 6 months and I have no idea when my next ultrasound is to get a better look. And I already bought girl stuff. Should I just go by his judgment?

Little boys penis are very noticeable a peek sticks out in between there legs if it was a boy I would say he would of seen a penis already but since he didn't I think it night be a girl. But those ultrasound techs are not specialized to determine the sex of baby when they do ultrasound to see What's causing pain and stuff the have only job only to take a look at abdominal area not baby.

Well my baby's heart beat is always around 160 but sometimes its at 145.

How much do 3d/4d ultrasounds cost normally?

I would wait until your US. My baby has always had a fast heartbeat which is more common in girls but he is a boy. I was in the er at about 20 weeks with contractions and the nurse told me that the baby had a fast heartbeat and could be a girl. So I was expecting to have a girl but at my US they confirmed boy.
