glucose test

i have a question about the glucose test were you guys aloud to drink anything before cause i know the doctor said no food after midnight but im not sure if im aloud to drink anything i have to go at 9:00am tomorrow

The same is still true. At least that's what my dr said

I thought you only had to fast for the 3 hour test, not the 1hour, maybe things have changed since my last pregnancy 6 years ago...

I didn't have to fast. And I passed after eating a donut and chocolate milk for breakfast lol. But do what ur doc says

My dr told me i could eat just nothin sweet n to big. but I'm also hypoglicemic n anemic..

I wasn't allowed to eat or drink after midnight just to be on the safe side.

I was told no you can't even chew gum they need you to be completly fasting so they can get you sugar level to see if you have become a diabetic if you eat or chew gum that will make you have a false test if you eat any carbs/sugars that will make it rise and they dont want you to have to take a pill that you dont actually need so you are better off not even drinking or eating any thing because its a good chance that the doctor will make you do it again  the next day

They say drink as little water as possible. My doctor even told me to minimize the water when I brushed my teeth. But that was my doctor! Good luck hun!
