Your welcome dear!!! And I know how you feel I think I cried the entire day but looking back there was no reason to be upset cuz there's nothing I can. do but manage it :) let me know how it goes :)
@a_love thank you!! I started to cry when I got off the phone with the nurse. But now I'm calm and I will not stress over it I will do some research and on Wednesday when I go for my test I will walk in with a positive mind with my head up high. :) @a_love THANK YOU again!!!
OK 1 I'm so sorry to hear about your first!!! And your in the same boat I am ..the chances for women during a second pregnancy to fail the test are higher and so is the chance of getting gestational diabetes. Its just something with our hormones that cause our insulin to be blocked. Dont worry though if you do get it , it goes away after birth and chances of the baby having any issues is low as long as you follow the diet or exercise plan they give you. Right now all my numbers are low and normal, I've been measuring ahead since 24 weeks about a week and 2 days ...but on a serious note don't stress and do research it helped me a lot and I wish I would have done it before my 3 hour cuz I was a ball of nerves...
I failed my one hour but passed my fasting 2 hr test :).
@a_love this is my second pregnancy my first was a stillborn and on Wednesday at my appointment they said my baby is a week and 6 days ahead
Yup I just went through this , this week...I ended up failing my 3 hr but it doesnt happen to everyone so don't stress or worry because that can raise your blood sugar...if you do end up failing they will send you to a diabetes education class where they will give you a meter and you'll have to check your blood a few times a day...I was super nervous about it all but until you get your results back theres no need to stress. Are you measuring ahead or bigger??? Is this your first baby???
Yea I failed my 1hr and passed passed the 3hr. They said it was probably something I ate or drank the first time.
