glucose test

I just drank the orange drink for the glucose test now I'm waiting for the hour to have blood drawn. Honestly, from what I've seen on here and how some girls got sick off of it etc I thought it was gonna be horrible. But the drink wasn't that bad! I chugged it though since my nurse poured it over ice. But it honestly wasn't as horrible as some people make it out to be. It just made my girls really hyper lol.

the one hour test wasnt bad. but the 3 hour. i thought i was going to die. i dont eat alot of sugars so having 100g of sugar in me on an empty stomach was hell

I am 28w6d, I was supposed to have it done at my doctors appt on September 9th, but since I was admitted into the hospital on Sept. 6th I didnt get it done and im still in the hospital due to having twins and being dialated 3cm and 75% effaced theyre keeping me until my girls come. But yeah they did it today and wasnt that bad and she made me drink the whole bottle which looked like a lot but honestly wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be lol. this is my first pregnancy so I wasnt sure what to expect. Honestly id rather do this test than be stuck with the needles in my booty again with the steroids to develope my babies lungs. but everything has been worth it so im not complaining one bit!

Mrsevans glucose is done between 24 abd 28 weeks :-) and yea if you get the orange drink and it's real cold it's really not bad :-) actually not dreading mine on Monday as my one with previous pregnancy went well :-)

I'm sitting here doing the three hour one. The drink isn't bad but being hungry and having your blood drawn 4 times is so horrible. I feel so sick.

See my doctor only has me drink half a cup of the frut punch.  
This is my 2nd pregnancy and both were the same I was just wondering cause my sister in law drank whole thing with both her pregnancy and failed hour one so she has to do it again for 3 hour.

I did the same, it tasted like flat orange pop and I didn't feel sick after or anything. Everyone is different

My doctor made me drink the whole thing. I had to finish it with in 5 min

Normally between 24 and 28 weeks. :)

How many weeks are you? I'm 15 and my doc appt is next week and my doc said I had to get blood drawn then. So I was wondering is that when they do the glucose test too?

Well all of it wouldn't fit in the cup so the last little bit was warm but still wasn't bad lol. Just tasted to me like an orange popsicle. But she put it over ice for me so it'd be cold since it wasn't refrigerated before hand.

Haha maybe the ice helped.I drinked mine cold but I didnt get sick off it,  I just felt annoyed.
