glucose testing

I am scheduled for a 3hr glucose test and complete blood work up on Monday. Saying that I'm terrified is an understatement. I did a 1hr test at my first appointment and was so sick. Needles,nasty orange drink and fasting is not how I pictured my pregnancy. Any words of advice?

My glucose test made me really sick, thankfully they let me retry the 1 hour test twice until I could finally hold it down. Ask for an ice pack and alternate it between your chest and the back of your neck and make sure you relax! I know its forever but focusing on your phone or other entertainment can increase your nausea. Just close your eyes and relax, I hope it goes well ):

Just pull through it i hated the original lucazade drink to start off with and the amount you have to drink and in such a little time (10 mins) to drink it makes you feel sick my test was only 2 hours so I read a magazine from page to page lol but passed time
