got fired/quit ??

Ok so I use to work at arbys (not the best but with the other job I HAD -stop giving me hours so I had to quit cause what I was making was gas money there and back- but it was momey) anyways. I'm 5 and a half months pregnant and this incident was a like 2_3 weeks ago but anyways a man used the bathroom and pooped all other the toilet the floor and wall. It was disgusting.  And who was working that night was my gm , her daughter , her husband , 2 other girls (one making food the other was just a person that was finishing up her duties getting ready to leave) then me. Well my gm flat out told me that I either cleaned it or I didn have a job (KNOWING IM PREGNANT) so I left.  But now I sit here and think about it more and more and They couldn't make me clean that could they?? All of my coworkers and other managers says she can't but apparently to the district manager she can and they have refused to give me my job back and everyone higher up in the company that I've called will not call me back.

That is filthy, I'm not sure how it works where you are but in Australia you can't be fired over something (even if it's in your job description) because that would be unfair dismissal. Fair enough if you have had three warnings but because your Dr has written them a note you should be able to do something about this. I'm sorry but your manager or boss is so wrong and should be so ashamed for it!!

Well if you would've had to use cleaning products that your doctor gave a note advising against, and your gm agreed to it, then you might have a case . But otherwise I think technically she was allowed to do that (even though it *****)

No but with my ob note (for personal issues ) that they have had says I'm not to carry or lift anything over 25 pounds, Use any cleaning products in an inclosed non ventilated space (witch she wrote bathrooms ) . And they have had it since I was 3 months pregnant.  And it was never an issue till then

Technically she can if it's always been included in your job description. It may have been disgusting but it's not technically risking you or the baby.
