I'm 37wks 6 days. Being induced next Thursday. I'm 3cm dilated and 90% effaced, had a second membrane sweep this morning....question is, I used the bathroom and my poop was black. Pitch black.

Is that even normal?! So gross :/

Yeah, pepto bismol will do that. So yes, it's a normal and typical side effect.

I took pepto bismol on Saturday and Sunday. And lots of tylenol yesterday. Been sick for three days. Hmmm now that u say pepto bismol, that makes sense lol

Have you been taking pepto bismol or eating a food with high iron content?
