group b strep positive and lost mucus plug 36 weeks

Will baby be ok if I am gbs positive and lost mucus plug? I have also had cervical exams. Scared bacteria will get to baby.

There is only a risk when water breaks I had group b strep when I was pregnant with my little man I had antibiotics during labour and he was fine

I meant will Bacteria get to baby before water breaks or labor starts.

Yes that's when it usually appears just make sure they treat you with antibiotics for it during labor
