group b strep?
Just found out I hav group b strep. Anyone else who's had it? How did it affect u nd ur baby? I read that it can cause stillbirth if severe. How do u know if u hav a severe case or not? How likely is it for ur baby to get sick from it if treated with antibiotics through an iv during labor? Plz help!!! I'm freaking out
Ok. Thank u. I was mainly worried bout the stillbirth. They said with antibiotics during labor everything should be fine but what bout before birth. We've just came soo far nd we r almost there nd to find out now that I could possibly lose my baby boy or he could get sick. I hate it
Dont freak out! I had it with my first pregnancy its just a bacteria that everyone produces however if its present when youre pregnant then they have to put you on antibiotics once you go into labor. That way they fight the bacteria when baby comes. Dont worry you & baby will be fine(:
I have the same thing. My doc said they go give me antibiotics during labor. I was thinking the same way but you just have to stay positive.
