hair dye

Ladies has anyone dyed their hair during pregnancy?
Can one dye there hair or not? Im 6 months and I'm going crazy with this hair I want to dye it so bad but I've heard mixed things about dying hair while pregnant.

I am a hair dresser and its prefectly safe. The only thing is some women dont get the color there looking for because of all the hormones

My doctor told me its safe as long as you're in a well ventilated space. She said all the stuff they use to dye hair doesn't get absorbed into the blood stream at all therefore doesn't harm your baby. ( that goes for bleaching hair as well) if you're concerned though you should ask your doctor. Everyone thinks differently. Im having my second child, I've dyed my hair and I personally don't believe its harmful.

You can use ammonia free hair dye and it's perfectly safe to use in every trimester. I did it my last pregnancy and it's fine.

Try to use Demi-permanent and don't lift your color (use bleach) your hair is so different while your pregnant due to hormones and you don't want your hair to fall out or change color.
