Ftm. Help !

I am so scared. Last night around 1:15 I heard a rat or mouse in my wall!! I freaked out & this morning I found droppings. I do not live dirty but do live near a wooded area. I've read toxoplasmosis can be inhaled etc. from that stuff. Anyone familiar with this? Cat droppings are the same. Help!

Of u werent pregnant i would tell u to get a cat but apparently its bad to get a cat while pregnant. Ive had my cats way before pregnancy im not worried about it but i wouldnt recommend to get one now. Go online and research the best things to get rid of them. Traps wont do a thing once the mices now of them they are very smart. U need to (unfortunately) kill them and prevent them from coming back. Hopefully they are mice and not rats. Those things are massive! Good luck :) but dont be afraid. They are more afraid of u then u are of them and theyre probably just looking for a warm place to sleep

You literally have to get it in your mouth, you don't have to just breathe it in. Have you been around cats before? My doctor said if you've been around cats before your risk of getting it are lowered dramatically, it's usually for first time pet owners getting a cat while pregnant (even if it's rats your worried about). I would put out some traps, it's something not very commonly an issue I really wouldn't lose sleep over it.
