hcg LEVELS

PATIENT  IS 3 MONTHS POST MISSED AB AND HCG LEVEL IS CRAWLING BACK TO NORMAL
AFTER THREE MONTHS IT SEEMS TO BE STUCK AT 32,  WHAT IS AVERAGE TIME FOR HCG LEVEL TO DROP TO 0 AND IS PREGNANCY IMPOSSIBLE IF HORMONE LEVEL IS ABOVE 0.
IS THERE A PROCEDURE TO GET HCG DOWN TO 0 SOONER THAN "TIME ALONE"
CAN STRESS  AFFECT HER LEVEL??????

I am going through the same thing- i had a d and c on dec. 14th 2007 and last week 2/23 my hcg was still 10? It has been dropping every week but slowly?

I agree with Leighanne....I had a D&C on 12/10 and my Hcg was back to less than 5 after 2 weeks.......3 months seems like a long time....She should discuss options with her Dr. and let him/her know that she is concerned about this...Sometimes they need a fire lit under their butts.......

it only took my hcg levels about 3 weeks to go below 5 after d and c.  If its has been 3 months then maybe the doctor missed some tissue in the uterus which is causing hcg level to stay above 0 and maybe another d and c is needed, that is one of the risks of d and c is that something might be missed.  But from what i understand is you can not ovulate til your hcg level goes below 5 which is considered not pregnant.
