When I was about four weeks my hcg was about 2300. My number actually dropped. They thought I was about 6 weeks originally, my hcg was 2900. We re did my blood work a week later, it went to 2300. The next week I had a sono and the sono said I was about 5 weeks (2 weeks after my first test). They say if your numbers drop that means you are miscarrying. Mine dropped and im 32 weeks pregnant.
Hcg levels tell you if your pregnant or not. Supposedly your hcg levels are suppose to double every 48 hrs for a healthy pregnancy.  It is a blood test they do.

I had mine tested at 4+2 and they were 361, then at 4+4 they were just over 600 and at 4+6 were just over 1000. Don't worry too much. Mine didn't double but almost did and I am now 16+1 with a healthy baby and everything is going fine. Good luck to you :)

Im confused on why they would think you were having a miscarriage. Did they do all three blood tests and another ultrasound yet? My mother in law is a delivery room nurse and thats why I know so much about hcg testing now. They cant know anything for sure based on one test so im confused on why they would give you anything without testing you every 48-72 hours

I am 5 weeks 4 days today I didn't have any symptoms until after 5 weeks. Then the frequent urination, headaches, hot flashes, thirsty all the time and extreme tiredness started.
