I did hear once it hits double figures they steadyly rise, I think different docs have different protocol to go off when i was preg in Nov the EPU nurse said they wanted to see them go up atleast 50% every 48-72hrs (my HCG was 597) So what i said before really dff docs in diff countries have diff protocol to go from. I am suprised they havnt scanned you yet i would defo ask for this as this can rule out tubal pregnancys ect.
I wish you the best of luck!
They say once the hcg hits 6000 i think that were the number it takes upto 5 days to double and tend not to go off hcg number after this point as a scan is the most accurate
Hi,
Your right in saying HCG should double atleast every 48-72hrs if they dont this normally indicates a non viable pregnancy, Also slow rising HCG can indicate a tubal pregnancy.--HOWEVER my brothers GF found out she was pregnant about 4days before AF was due and had her HCG monitored it was rising very slowly by about 60% every 72hrs so they told her to prepare for the worst (m/c) i now have a gorgeous 9month old nephew!! So it isnt always bad news.
I wish you the best of luck for your repeat HCG.
Please keep us updated.
