hcg levels

As soon as I found out I was pregnant, the doctor took blood to test my hormone levels. They said"you need to get into your ob asap because it isn't an early pregnancy. It's between fifteen and nineteen weeks." Naturally, I freaked out a little thinking I had missed my first half of my pregnancy! At my ultrasound I found out I'm actually only 7 weeks and my hormones are just crazy high... I'm thinking perhaps there could be twins, and only one was visible because it is so early? Anyone have similar experiences or knowledge on this?:)

Thank you! I really don't mind as long as I'm healthy and the baby is okay! I just feel like I went from not pregnant, to PREGNANT in a week haha with how insanely tired I am and how I have all of the symptoms (they were sudden!) we are so excited to see if there is one or two, and I'm  to know that you are healthy as well! Maybe our bodies are just trying to be super moms:) ha

Mine were so high I ended up getting hyperemesis gravidarum amd was put on bed rest from week 11-17. At 16 weeks my levels were still were a twin pregnancy would be, but we just have the one in there :) Hopefully for you it's twins if that's what you're hoping for :)
