Pregnancy after Provera????

Just want to know if anyone here has became pregnant after using Provera? If so how many months after using Provera did it take? Thanks in advance

hi there hopefully you have sorted your periods out now but if you have not try not to worry.

i had not had period since september 2007 since stopping BC it is now july 08, i have been on provera twice April and end of may which did not induce my period, i spent a fortune on pregnancy tests which all were negative until i took one on the 4th July whiich showed a faint line in positive.  i was due to go into to have operation on on 14th of this month which is why i took the test also i was feeling different.

anyway i am pregnant i cant quite believe it as i have had no periods for 10 months and was worried that i would never be able to have children again, i was told that i may have Ashermans etc.

so anything is possible!

The only time I took provera was to induce my period but I don't think it's intended to help get pregnant in any way. There are other progesterone supplements that are sometimes  prescribed to help sustain a pregnancy but that's given once you've become pregnant. I'm not sure why you were prescribed provera and not sure this was of much help because of it, but I do wish you the best of luck and lots of baby dust. Take care and God Bless. : )
