10week check up

Hey, ladies
I'm going for my 10week check up this Monday.. what can I expect? External sono or too soon?

Ye, it was really Cool...got to see the lil peanut and hear the heartbeat, was a bit slow than normal but doc said it's k...

It's so weird there r days when my belly is flat like my pre-pregnancy days and days when my belly pooches out...cud just b from gas/constipation:(
Will c tmrrw what doc will opt for. Can't wait to c it's progress!

Oh Ok, good to know about the dating scan. My doc didn't even tell me my due date, his nurse calculated it on those round chart thingys they have....

The dating scan is to see how far along your are by the size of the baby and to get an accurate due date

Lucky yu!! Maybe they'll do an external now if yur uterus has popped up already .. mine hadn't at 11 weeks so they opted to do vaginal

I already had my first vaginal sono at 6w...really excited about next visit!

They may do a vaginal ultrasound. I was 11 weeks 3 days at my first appt &' got a vaginal ultrasound &' heard the heartbeat!

I had an external sonogram at 9weeks! And got to hear,the heartbeat and everything. If you havent had an ultrasound yet they will prolly set you one up for a dating scan.
