ok funny question lol.. my mom and i were talking and she asked me if i felt my babys first heat beat yet? i looked at her funny and started laughing because i've never heard that before. i told her im 7 wks i dnt think thats possible.. and she insisted that it was... that u feel like a jolt through you body n thats basically the sign of your babys heart beat. i want to know if thats ever happen to any of you ladies? or felt something like that? n also my mom had said she had felt that with all 4 of her kids.. lol im new to this pregnancy thing so i wanted to know if that was true to anyone else?

You see your own pulse in your neck. You can feel it as well, it is usually located directly under your jaw.

It is not possible to feel the fetal heartbeat, however you can hear it through doppler and ultrasound. It would not cause any kind of feeling through your body.
