Im 29 weeks too and i sip a little milk and if that doesnt help ill take tums. Also try to eat smaller meals throughtout the day so your tummy isnt always full it helps prevent it a little

This one didn't hit me until late pregnancy, but now I take tums almost every day. I also use milk occasionally.

I live on tums!!! ;-) I chew them a lot because the burn is sooo bad! I had been drinking a lot of milk, but ended up really constipated!!

Celery works well as does milk.  My doctor told me not to take tums or zantac although zantac works so well.  So ask your doctor what he would recommend.

I take tums and that helps me. Ice water helps me as well, milk and bread.

This is my third and had heartburn horrible with all three. You can take tums just def follow directions on the.bottle.so you aren't taking to many. When you ate going.to.eat acidic food.try to have it with a glass of milk. Mints help just any of the hard cany ones and at night esp brush your teeth and swallow just a little the mint from your toothpaste will get you through the night.

I normally just take some Maalox. My heartburn was so bad at one point I had to take some before I ate or drank anything & still had to take some afterwards. If it doesn't seem to get any better I would ask your doctor about heartburn medications.
