Try drinking milk to ease it or normal vanilla icecream helps too. I buy bottles of gaviscon (sugar free) which really helps.im in ireland though so not sure if they sell the same where ever u live.im sure they wud sell similar stuff in the pharmacies or supermarkets though.
I was told that sleeping propped up helps an it really did. your body is constantly digesting an never really gets a break.
My midwife told me not to drink with my food. To wait like 30min before I had water and it helps for me. Also papaya enzymes are suppose to help. I have not tried them yet.
Heartburn is common. Old wise tale: your baby has a head full of hair! (Proven right twice so far for my two baby girls) I used to keep a water bottle by the need at night, because that's when it was worse for me. You could try drinking more water, tums, and not laying down after you eat a meal. Some foods are culprits also like iceberg lettuce, spicy foods, & citrus fruits.
