Ive had aweful heartburn, tums arnt cutting it, my dr says i can take maalox but i was wondering if anyone knew a pill i could swallow for it? The maalox is liquid and about makes me puke

Thank u for all thr suggestions ill talk to my dr:) and brihunt i think they took it off:/ i found the generic at rite aid but couldnt find the real thing

i havent been able to find maalox any where lately the liquid or pill, but i know it exists bc that's what my dad took

Tumms wouldnt work for me so i would chug a glass of milk

I've had horrible heartburn for months, I've been taking zantac, my doctor said its fine to take, some doctors even prescribe it. It does wonders, seriously a lifesaver!

I take Prilosec. It has helped me tremendously!
But, I would talk to your doctor before you go buy anything. :)
