heel pain in pregnancy

Anyone have issues with heel pain? I am 24 weeks along, and I can barely walk on my right foot. the pain radiates up by calf and my knee. I was told today the pressure of the baby is causing the arch in my foot to flatten out. Nothing helps!

My husband went to our chiropractor today, and he told all my symptoms. My hips are severly out of whack, and I quit going to him once I got a positive pregnancy test. He told my husband for me to ice, keep my feet elevated, and wear good shoes. Well, I've had my feet up for the last two hours, and my foot is aching so bad. This heel pain, with an active two year old, and nesting is not working out at all!

I had the same problem. It really is painful. If it gets worse and starts to affect your ankles see a doctor because it took months for my doctors to realize it wasn't normal and that I had osteoporosis which I think is pregnancy related. Good luck to you. Put your feet up as much as you can.
