5 weeks pregnant and no sac with low levels

Hello,

I had a misscarriage in april when i was 7 weeks. Now i am 5 weeks and went yesterday with 4wks and 6ds into the ER because of cramping.Well they made a blood test and u/s and they didnt see anything and my levels were at 109 very low.He wants me to get testet again on monday to see if my levels go up. Is there a chance it might turn out good or will it be a m/c again.

thank you

ugh.... ladies you should know that A) levels have to start somewhere and B) 5w can usually be TOO early to see anything.

My levels starting out were 27, yep... 27. An ultrasound at 5 1/2w showed only a small sac, no pole no hb. then at 6 1/2w we saw our peanut. I'm now 29w with a baby boy and he's healthy as can be.

Hi,
I went to the ER yesterday too, 5 weeks pregnant with rhythmic cramping and bloody d/c. The urine and blood test confirmed I was pregnant with normal hCG but they couldn't see a sac with the u/s. What the doctor told ME is that more than likely I miscarried. He said this happens quite often but it's still upsetting.
If you're not bleeding though, or there's no d/c, maybe your levels are just taking longer to rise. Don't despair, try to think positive, and take the second blood test. Wishing you all the best!

No one can tell you if you are going to miscarry or not, only the doctor can tell you that. Maybe you ovulated later than you thought and that would be why your levels are low or slow rising. good luck with your blood test on Monday and i hope everything turns out ok!
