help!!!!

Hi ladies, I am 4 months pregnant and completely constipated!! I've tried hot water..prune juice...veggies... Apple juice and nothing is working I'm so uncomfortable are there any OTC meds that work but are safe for the baby???  I just wanna cry cause I'm so frustrated...

I take colace at least once a week. It has helped a lot. Miralax is also ok to take! I remember I was sooo constipated in the beginning, I would wake up and cry, it lasted for like 2 weeks if not more. Just don't force it, so you can avoid hemmoroids.

I've been drinking prune juice!! Ewwwww and warm apple juice had whole grain cereal...still can't go its so maddening!! Thanks ladies I'll try some of your suggestions :)

I got those fiber supplement gummies! They taste good and worked for me after about 4 days. They are OTC and not expensive. Take them after each meal, then drink at least a cup of juice (I like orange). Also, eating fruit /yogurt before the meal helps. Go easy on red meat. Hope that helps

Miralax is ok to take. I have that problem. And that is what I was prescribed

I had this problem for a wk. Just got over it. I actually just stopped taking my pre natals for a few days & the constopation slowly went away.  I didn't strain just went when I reallly felt like I needed to go. The more u pysh & straim the worse it'll get.  I was bleeding also. I think I just need a prenatal with a stool softener.
