hemorrhoids?!

Did anyone else develop hemorrhoids while pregnant?? Was it bad when you were in labor and pushed? Have they went away since you've given birth??

I know they are terrible!! You can put on a latex glove with petroleum jelly and push it back inside that's what I have to do for any relief.

I got them when I was in labor with my oldest one but don't remember having them with the other 2. I just noticed a few days ago that I think I have one. I go to Dr in a few hours and I'm going to get them to look and tell me if it is.

That is the reason why was kinda glad I had a c section at first because I didnt want to have but pain ontop of vaginal pain and possible tearint etc but comparing the two idk which is more painful because it hurts like hell to have your abdomen uterus and skin sliced (lazered) open.

Yes!! Me too!! I was reading that it mite have to be surgically fixed.

Also when I was pregnant I made what I called the "but kit" which consisted of latex gloves, petroleum jelly, baby wipes, and tucks numbing spray to help get through the painful bowel movements. Also used preparation H hemorrhoidal suppositories.

I haven't considered surgery bc they only appeared since my pregnancy. I will wait to see how my body, my colon adjust back after the pregnancy. That should help with the flow of this.

I've had hemorrhoids for the first time in life during this pregnancy. The hurt like hell. Sometimes I bleed during a bowel movement and I'm really uncomfortable and in pain trying to get through a bowel movement. Gosh its miserable. I eat right and drink fluids. I just don't care anymore

Unfortunately I've had hemorrhoids since a very young age due to constipation :( but they don't necessarily hurt, it's just more of an uncomfortable feeling when they flare up. Try not to sit too much and don't strain your bottom. I know of many women who've given birth vaginally and didn't get hemorrhoids :) hopefully you are one..don't worry if it does happen there's nothing a little cream/medication won't help with :)
