Fl drs and Preterm... help
Im so tires of the drs here. we moved from CO and found out i was pregnant immediately after. . and the drs here dont give a d a m n about you. I have been spotting and having horrible pains in my stomach but since no contractions they dont care. I am high risk but i feel like that means nothing because they wont take any preliminary precautions to make sure the baby stays ok. I am only 23 and 4 days. I was spotting at 17 wks and they said they wont do anything till i reach 20. now they STILL wont do anything. i had preterm labor with my first and was taking 3 meds every 4 hours to keep baby in. . but this time they wont even listen to me! they checked me real quick this morning and said i am thick and closed but the nurse last night said I was not effacing but 2.5 cm dialated loosing mucus! omfg i dont know what to do.......
the only other place for me to go is a residency practice associated with the hospital I am set to deliver at.. I dont know if i should or not for fear of a student doing my second c section....
I had this issue seven years ago. I went to the ER. found a nice nurse. She hooked me up with my obgyn that night. He's high risk and he loves what he does. If u lived close I'd take u myself! You could always contact the nearest birthing ccenter or hospital.... Ask a nurse!
You should go to the emergency room or something. tell them you are very worried and your dr doesnt seem to help put your mind at ease. especially since you are high risk
Thanks and i am looking for another drs office.. its been hard though because im high risk and no one will take me, and I have medicaid..
Have you tried switching doctors? I would see what other doctors think, there has to be at least ONE near you that will care, I hope all is well hun!
Sorry to hear they are not doing their job. Try and stay on bed rest. If u can look for another Dr. I wish u the best keep strong.
