Anyone know any tricks or remedies for newborn hiccups?

Either way works. We used a medicine dropper because we were breastfeeding. Baby could also be swallowing air when bottle feeding, so you might want to look into anti-colic bottles. Good luck!

Do you feed it to them plain or mix in breastmilk?

Gripe water is all natural but try to buy the alcohol free kind. It should be in most drug stores. Dosage usually goes by weight and is marked on the bottle. I think for my 9lb daughter it was 1/2 tsp.

If you heat up 4oz water for 30 seconds and then put a lifesavers peppermint in it to dissolve and let it cool, that always helped with my baby. And she loved the taste :)

Same here, both of my kids had them bad in my stomach and they still  have them

Yeah its very normal. My Lil man had them a lot in my belly n still gets them. But yeah gripe water is safe to give newborns
