hip pain

Okay so I'm 19 weeks and 3 days and its almost 11:00 at night and my hips just started hurting out of nowhere. Is anyone else dealing with this? How did you get it to stop hurting?

I've been having the same thing! The only thing that helped me was an ice pack for 15 minutes then a heating pad for 15 and do that a few times. I still have a very hard time getting comfortable when I am trying to sleep but the pain is gone by morning when I do ice and heat

I have dealt with this most of my pregnancy and it gets so bad that it's hard to get up and walk. The doctor says that our body has a hormone called relaxin being released to get ready for pregnancy and it doesn't target a specific muscle just all and some don't take to kindly to it. Heat pad works some, stretching sometimes, but don't over due it cause it can also make it hurt more. If it gets too severe they will have to reevaluate it.

It could be ur siatic nerve. Lots of streching is the only thing that has helped me. I also put a heating pad on it. Sleeping on ur side with a pillow under your legs might help to.

Yeah I get that a lot. My doctor says it's because our hips are spreading and getting pressure put on them. I use a heating pad or put a pillow under my butt.
