I miscarried and my ob office was the one that confirmed I miscarried and they didn't put me at high risk for my current pregnancy. Not to mention it took them a while to determine I was actually having a miscarriage, due to my blood hormone levels increasing.
Iv had 3 miscarriages and after the first he considered me high risk but just put me on progesterone and foltx tablets along with the prenatals. After our second loss we just added weekly progesterone shots. Now our fourth pregnancy we did all that and were sent to a fetal maternal specialist to see a long with our doctor I'm now 26wks with a big baby boy(: the specialist does ultrasounds at every visit checks HB cervix length and offers to do testing to try to figure out why you miscarried in the past I'm still waiting on 1 of the test results to get back. My Medicaid is also covering all of this just saying so other moms can check into it.
Most doctors don't consider you high risk until you have 3 miscarriages. I understand though. I had two and I just couldn't understand why I wasn't considered high risk.
You need another doctor then. I have gone through about 4 doctors all they say is my test results are normal and will follow me as a regular pregnancy till I found the current one.
My doctor does not keep close watch on me I feel like he should & he doesnt
Any previous miscarriages make u high risk good luck
February this year and they were 19 weeks.
Sorry for your loss I also lost twins in February and 2012 also had a loss at 31 weeks. Am now five weeks pregnant.Am going to clinic twice a week and am on an injection every day for 36 weeks. I think you are high risk and you should be watched very closely.
