weight gain?

So when I first got pregnant I weighed 140. I am now 36+6 weeks prego and weigh 186. I am so miserable and cant get over the fact that I have gained that much weight. I am concerned. My doctor doesn't seem concerned. He says I dont even look what I wiegh. I am a ftm. I miss my little cute body so much I feel so ugly cause I have gotten stretch marks and feel so fat. My fiance says im just as sexy as I was when we first meet. But sometimes he makes lil jokes about my weight gain but I know he really just is playing but even knowing that it still makes me insecure and hurts my feelings. So any advice ladies? I do watch what I eat I drank plenty of water.

Honestly, there's no reason for you to feel insecure! You're pregnant, weight gain is inevitable. Some women just gain more than others.. even if they live a healthy lifestyle. Just keep in mind that most of the weight you're gain is ALL baby. Your body will most likely bounce back fairly quickly and if it doesn't, it's something you can work on after your delivery. Set your insecurites aside for the remainder of your pregnancy and focus on your growing baby!! As for your hubby, tell him that his jokes bother you. Men are clueless when it comes to women and their feelings, so bite the bullet, sit him down and talk to him about it

I understand how you feel I went from 135 and am now 170 I'm 37 weeks and 3 days ... I've had times when I have cried about it ... I know it's worth it for my baby but it's hard to not think about all the weight you've gained especially when you go to the doctors and the first thing they do is check your weight :/ I feel real fat and worrie I'm not going to lose the weight but I try not to think about it so much..
I plan to do everything I can to get in shape after my daughter is born :) she's deff worth all this.
