hi there just wanted to know can i still have a ecptopic pregnancy if my hormones are more than doubled they were 199 and now gone uptoo 487 im having a scan on monday to see if they lady which is checking me can see a ecptopic outside the womb i think the hospital are trying to scare me as ive had a ecptopic last year but my hormones hadnt doubled i got told wen i had my second hcg levels tested that if the results doubled i be fine then the gyne that called me he said im not out of the woods yet thankyou for taking the time to read this question thankyou

congrats, that is the first big step to a healthy pregnancy.  just because you had one eptopic does not mean you will have another.  i had 2 MC's and i am now pregnant again and so far so good.  so we are not doomed just because we had a problem last time.

i hope your next US, you see that little flicker, it is the best thing ever to see.

hi there been to the hospital they had found a baby yolk sack so that is good news 4me the hospital are going o give me another scan on the 30th september now to detect the heartbeat scary stuff hope yours goes well let me know stay in contakt love deb

Hi there.  I don't know a whole lot but what I've learned going through my own pregnancy issues is that your HCG tends to fluctuate up and down in ectopic pregnancies.  An intravaginal ultrasound scan would help rule in or rule out that possibility.  Easier said than done, but try to not worry so much this weekend.  I think it's good that the hospital is following up with you closely.  It's nerve-wrecking, I know.  I'm having another ultrasound myself in 10 days and it feels like forever!  I wish you the best.
