hospital question

I'm 39 weeks and 3days with my baby boy. I've been having bad braxton hicks contractions since last week. They are so bad that I fell yesterday cuz it felt like my hips locks and I could move. Baby's fine I landed on my hands and knees. My question is would it be a bad idea to go to the hospital just to see if I have dialated (I'm sure I have) and if I am dialated and demand them to induce me? My midwife and I were talking about getting induced on Thursday at my last appt on Tuesday but I wasn't dialated. Any advice? Not sure what to do but I'm ready to have him.

They'll induce u if ur at high risk due to ur fall. For example bleeding, baby isn't moving that much, etc. yesterday was my due date, I'm at 3cm and Wednesday that just passed I got my membranes swept. I have bad contractions but nothing to whr i have to go in. I'm scheduled to b induced on the 27th if he doesn't come b4... I don't wanna b induced, and believe me like u I'm so ready to have him..!!

I know that they wont induce you unless something medically is wrong or your like a week over your due date. But it is worth the try because it does seem like you may becoming a risk of falling. I would just tell them that you fell and you want checked and was to check on your baby.
