Me too. Well mines has been since 35 weeks.
This has been happening to me since 36 weeks and I'm now 39...contractions end up being 2mins apart and they tell me I'm going to have my baby then it all just stops, it's so exhausting emotionally and physically. I feel your pain, let's hope we have our precious babies in our arms soon and our bodies stop playing games x
I try hard to relax but with a two year old it's hard. Especially my two year old. She's all over the place.
Go take a warm, relaxing bath or do something else relaxing, like a massage or pedicure. Usually, when this happens, mom's stress or anxiety produces adrenaline. That can completely counter act the oxytocin in your system and cause your labor to stall, stop and even reverse.
Relax for a bit and your body will price the oxytocin again. When you start contracting again, keep your mind positive. You'll be holding your baby soon. You just have to not work against your body.
I'm sorry too. When you are not having them, try to sleep!! Take a nap. You'll need your rest and long, protracted labors can take it out of you. So, lay down and take a good snooze until those contractions start again. good luck
I'm 39+6 and no contractions =/ so I might get induced tomorrow, I feel your pain.
I'm sorry mama! That's how my last week of pregnancy was. Contracting every ten minutes, closer if I was walking/lunging, but stuck at a three. I had two membrane sweeps hoping to get some change but they didn't work. Hopefully you have better luck than I did!
