I had pitocin with my first 2 pregnancies...baby #1 I was in labor 14 hours and #2 for 7 hours

I got it at 1am and started having regular contractions at 12pm the next day. Had her at 7pm. Id say my actual labor was 7 hours.

Depends on what they are using to induce. Usually they use pictocin which would require an iv line. There is also a pill they put inside the vagina to help thin the cervix and hopefully start contractions
