Doctors could be wrong. I was told I was having a blighted ovum and I just had an ultrasound last week and my baby was moving around. Where I live most doctors refuse to do an ultrasound before nine weeks.

Eventhough my doctor seems to think that ive already lost the baby, he said there is probably only a 1% chance that everything is ok!

I didn't even see a yolk sac at five weeks. I went back at nine and seen everything. I would wait one more week at eight you should be able to see something.

a heartbeat is usually seen at about 8 weeks pregnant. some women haven't had a heartbeat detected until 9 weeks pregnant and beyond. always bear in mind how pregnant you are may have been miscalculated.  fingers crossed for you xx

I went through M/C a little under a year ago, and it was a very confusing time. My U/S that were being done weekly did not show good growth, never developed a heartbeat and eventually even I could see the pregnancy was not viable--but I was VERY hopefull up to that point. The other thing that was confusing was that I had no symptoms anything was wrong, no bleeding-cramping anything, I felt fine. I finally opted for a D&C which went well and two months later I was pregnant and am now 34 weeks. You can be hopeful of course but try to realize that this could be a M/C. I wish the best for you.

If this was a second u/s and still showing no heart beat then the outcome isnt good, its really up to you to decide the course you want to take now, either letting nature take its course or opting for a d&c,  if it isnt a second u/s I would wait and do the second one and see what happens, but it still doesnt sound too promising, good luck

When I had my mc last year I had no symptoms that anything had gone wrong either. I found out thru u/s at 12 weeks but baby had passed at almost 10
