I always lose a ton of weight while I breastfeed, I am normally not a skinny skinny person, but when I am breastfeeding I am around 105 lbs.
My boobs did sag after, but they would have regardless of breastfeeding because I went from an A cup prepregnancy to bigger then a DD when I became engorged for the first time. I breastfed for 18 months and 14 months and wouldnt change that for the world, it is good for your body and for babies. I think that breastfeeding even reduces the risk of breast cancer in the future (may be wrong, but could swear I heard this somewhere)
Im just watching a programme on breast feeding! I really want to breast feed and will try really really hard to for the benefit of my baby and me lol
You have to be careful pumping the first month, not only can it make baby lazier about latching but it can dry your milk up, literally, overnight. I was pumping a LOT and woke up one morning and all of my milk was completely gone. I loved BF'ing, its a great bonding experience!
Thank you. I really plan on breast feeding mostly pumping after the first couple weeks but i am going to breast feed. Most def.
I breastfed all three of mine, dropped down to lower than my prepregnancy weight fast with zero dieting and exercise.
I agree mrsreeder2be, you'll get that from pregnancy, not breastfeeding. Helps lose a ton of weight, not to mention it's best for the baby.
Pregnancy causes your boobs to sag, not breastfeeding. Your boobs tend to get bigger due to the milk coming in. It's really good for you and baby. It burns almost 500 calories a feeding.
I think it's different for everyone.. Ive known people who had their boobs sag a lot some none at all and some just a little.. As for the size Its different for everyone too.. I breastfed my daughter till she was 18months and my boobs only got smaller after I started running again, but I welcomed that..
How about your breast did they get smaller or sag?
You lose weight you put on faster
Helps shrink the uterus back down faster.
