how early is too early?

Hey ladies I have a question about Braxton hicks contractions. Last week I had four in one hour each one lasted 13 seconds. Tonight I had one that lasted for 30 seconds. I'm 22 weeks 5 days. Is this normal?

@kymi91 I didn't have any notable Braxton hicks contractions before my daughter was born. It's normal to get them and also normal not to.

If youre getting them more often and they get stronger I would talk to your doctor, either call or ask at ypur next appointment. Its normal to have them this early, as long as they arent frequent and go away. They can be a sign of dehydration, so drink plenty of water and fluids!

Kymi91, not everyone gets them so don't worry!

Any time after twenty weeks as long as you get fewer than four to six in an hour.
