pregnancy test Q.

I just took a first response pregnancy test that came out positive after having unprotectied sex with my b/f  for 5yrs.  My last period was Oct.13th and I am almost 3 weeks late.  Since I have never been pregnant before I think maybe I should test again because im not sue if it may be accurate.  But yet I have been feeling kind of sick recently.  Nausea, vomiting, being tired and I cant even eat.  Im kind of confused so what should I do?

Their are rarely false positives. It picked up an increase of hormone. Your pregnant!!! Congrats

I got a faint positive on the day of my missed period. You should definately take a test today and call your ob asap and make an apt because you are a few weeks pregnant and need to get started on the vitamins and u/s. Don't wait another week!!!!! Good luck!

I didn't think you were I was just clarifying for the previous poster that it is possible to get a false positive. It wasn't directed at you in particular. :)

i would say take another test to be sure but you can do it now...if you are 3 weeks late and you are pregnant it will show up now and anytime of the day.  If you get a 2nd + call your doc and make an appt.  Congrats.

There actually is such a thing as a false positive. You can get them if you are on fertility drugs... if you read the test outside of the time limit. She seems concerned (shoot I took 8 tests when I found out I was pregnant) so I think maybe another test would make her feel better... one where there isn't any room for questions.

I have been feeling that way too. I could barely eat my dinner last night and I can eat like a man. It was strange. I am too scared to take a test because I WANT to be pregnant. I think you should always take a second one though-just to be sure.

No need to test again. A + is a positive, whether it is light, dark, you can barely see it, or it is clear. There is no such thing as a false positive. Congrats!

If you got a + sounds like its accurate to me. You may want to buy a digital test since that will tell your for sure. Congrats! :)
