how long before going to doctor

Hi, i miscarried in march this year i ve just found out im pregnant again roughly 6 weeks along im a bit hesitant to go to doctors just yet incase i miscarry again how far along was everyone before you went to see the doctor? Thanks :-)

My first appt where they went over background I was around six weeks, but my first actual appt, I was 9.5 according to the u/s

I had a previous miscarriage as well and didn't end up seeing the doctor with this pregnancy until 13 weeks because of insurance reasons.  Just because u had one miscarriage doesn't automatically mean u will have another.  So if u want 2 wait another week or so I'd say it'd b fine!!  I'm not saying wait as long as I did ofcourse lol, I just didn't have a choice.  But waiting another week or 2 won't harm anything at all

I was 8wks, and also had miscarried previous to this pregnancy, so they did a vaginal ultrasound to make sure he had a heartbeat.

i think that u have to make an appointment as soon as possible because u have got miscarriage before so u should be more care ful and its better if dr see u every week.

If you've had a previous miscarriage, the EARLIER you go the better, they run tests on your progesterone and everything else to see if you need supplements, etc. Definitely go as soon as you can, and make an appt!

I was 7 weeks because I was having a lot of cramping. But my regular first appt was set for 8 weeks. I would call the dr office and let them know how far along you are and that you had a miscarriage recently and see what they say as far as how soon they want to see you.

I was almost to my second trimester with my first two before I even knew I was pregnant and I got insurance stuff straight. But they usually say between 8-10 weeks you should go.
