Anywhere from two to six weeks is considered normal postpartum bleeding. Sex can usually resume within four to six weeks depending on your provider and how you're feeling. Depends on whether or not your tear, if you delivered vaginally or via c section, etc.

They suggest waiting 6 weeks, even if you're not bleeding anymore. You can have cuts and stuff internally that aren't healed yet.

Midwives says it is better to waite 6w to relax and make u'r hormones regular again, and give u'r budy some time to rest :)
But as soon as u stop bleeding u can had sex any way

Everyone is different. I bled for 2 and a half weeks after I had my daughter. Some women bleed off and on and some may bleed the whole 6 weeks or more. It really just depends on your body.

With my first it was 6 weeks and with my second it was only 2 weeks
