How far apart roughly are your first contractions?

Mine were irregular my whole time in labor but they started at about rough 10-15 minutes apart for 15 hours and then started to get to 5-7 minutes for another 4, then I went to the hospital and was in labor for another 10 hours before I had my son! Everyone's body is different but if your contractions have been 5 minutes roughly apart and have been that way for at least an hour you're probably safe to head into labor and delivery

its calmed down abit now, still in pain though:/ its 01:30am here so going to try get some sleep

I would try walking too. That really seemed to make my contractions closer and stronger.

i had a sweep today and been bouncing on a gym ball and im due sunday x

Right now I'm at 10 minutes apart. But they don't get any more painful. And I don't understand why?

The very firsts ones for me were about 10 mins apart. But very quickly it changes to 3 mins apart. And it stayed that way for 6 hours. Haha

been getting what i can only guess are contractions every 15minuets and are now getting closer to 10minuets, getting abit painful now x

Mine were very irregular at first maybe one every few hours. I went to sleep and woke up and they averaged 3- 2.5 minutes apart and 1.5 minutes apart if I walked around. They stayed about that way until I gave birth. mine got very close together very very fast.  I also recommend the contraction calculator app. You can just press stop and start and it will calculate everything for you no confusion and you don't have to think about it.
