how long nausea last?

Hi, I'm 6 weeks gone, and suffering from nausea and fatigue all the time. I'm constantly feeling sick and having to sit down because I feel exhausted. I know its normal but its all the time and work is going start getting annoyed with ringing in sick. How long will this go on ?

I had morning sickness all 9 months with my first two girls i was throwing up while in labor! and this is my third pregnancy and I'm already 8 months and still have it. I've taken some anti naseau meds with this pregnancy to help give me a break but If I miss a pill I get sick!

Hi, im not trying to make you feel worse just informing you what I went through. Im pregnant with my second child. With my first as soon as I hit 6 weeks I was sick all the time and it was really bad. I was sick every day until I was 24 wks and had a two week break and then went back to being sick for the rest of my pregnancy. I ended up taking a straight month off work but luckily my boss was understanding. I hope that your sickness doesnt last anywhere near as long as mine did but wanted to give you a heads up just incase. Good luck :-)

I'd tell work your pregnant ...or at least one of the managers and tell them to keep it quiet. They can't get upset if your ringing in sick for pregnancy related reasons. Well they may be annoyed but can't sack you or anything. I suffered badly and telling a manager genuinely avoided me getting sacked for ringing in sick. I'm 13 weeks and mine has just subsided. Try ginger biscuits though, and either flat coke or lemonade, they helped me. Good luck!! Xx

It should subside by 12 weeks. Some women end up sick their whole pregnancy. Good luck!
