how soon after a miscarriage does it take for your HCG levels to go back to normal? i had a miscarriage nearly 2 weeks ago. once the bleeding stopped we have been trying again. i have just done a test and it shows a faint positive???/

Like the above said, rates vary between everyone. Mine were down in 2 weeks while others I know took 2 months. Can depend how far along you were in pregnancy as well. Check with you dr for blood work.

i agree with clysta that the hormones are problly still in your body. And the rate they drop is different for everyone.

It's very likely the hormones are still in your body. For some women it can take over a month for them to fully drop. You should see a doctor for blood work to determine what your levels are at and what they're doing.
